I challenged my inner strength to fight the disease, and this action became a stepping-stone toward my mission to help cancer patients while educating, advocating, researching and being a voice for the voiceless. I am the founder and Director of “ Trials of Color and Saving Pennies 4 A Cure” (trialsofcolor.net and savingpennies4acure.com) 501 C3 non-profit organization that focuses on improving the lives of breast and colon cancer patients. The organization provide educative measures on prevention of cancer and giving back to the disadvantaged with a focus on diversity, clinical trials and boots on the ground for male and female in Virginia.
