Dr. Jeames is the Project Advance Facilitator/College & Career Advisor at Eastside Early College High School in Austin, Texas; and is an Adjunct Professor at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas.

My Story

Dr. Jeames served as the Co - Chair of ASCO Health Equity Outcomes Committee (2021-2022), and has memberships in the Society of Urological Surgical Associates (SUNA), American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO). He is the Co-Chair for the Patient Partners Advisory Group as part of the ASCO/ACCC EDI initiative. He has served on the Clinical Trials Advisory Panel for Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and is Merit Protocol Reviewer for PCORI. Dr. Jeames is a manuscript reviewer for JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics, the Urologic Nursing Journal and the Journal for the Poor and Underserved. He served as the Undergraduate Advisor at Cambridge College in Springfield, Massachusetts and has been on faculty at Lawson State College and Jeff State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama; instructing undergraduates in World History, US History, African American History and Philosophy. Dr. Jeames earned a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and Communication from the University of Phoenix. He earned B.S. degree in History/Journalism from Livingston University, and a Master’s degree in History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed post-secondary certifications at St Edward's University in Austin, Texas.
