Bob Riter has been active in the cancer world since he was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996.

My Story

For nearly twenty years, he worked at the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes and, since retiring from that position, he has been employed at Cornell University, connecting cancer researchers and students with the local patient community. More recently, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and was found to have a CHEK2 mutation. A native of Huntington, WV, he’s a graduate of Oberlin College and the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan.
