The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is a San Antonio-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ending breast cancer through advocacy, education, and direct patient support. Founded in 1993 by survivors, the foundation acts as a critical bridge between the scientific and patient communities, most notably through its internationally recognized Advocate Program at the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS), which empowers patient advocates with high-level scientific training. Beyond its global reach, ABCF serves the local community by providing vital resources such as a helpline, financial assistance for screenings for the uninsured, and legislative advocacy to improve healthcare access and research funding.

At Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting those affected by breast cancer in our community. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of donors like you to provide vital assistance to those in need. Your donation will help us fund education, screenings, and support services that enable people to better understand and manage breast cancer.
The National Philanthropy Day judges committee selected the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation as the 2019 honoree in the Outstanding Service Organization category.
