The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is a grassroots advocacy, educational, and support organization established for women and men with breast cancer and for those concerned about breast cancer issues

Our mission is:

  •  Expand the network of individuals committed to the eradication of breast cancer.

  •  Raise public awareness and educate the community about the disease.

  •  Advocate for advances in the early detection, treatment, and prevention of breast cancer.

  •  Provide information and lend support to women and men diagnosed with breast cancer and to     their families and friends.

    October 12th LIFE after Breast Cancer Nutrition class--loading up on nutrition. This will be followed by a cooking demonstration with high-nutrient foods--whole wheat personal pizzas with fixings and chocolate chip cookies!
    October 19th LIFE after Breast Cancer The benefits of exercise on breast cancer survivors with guest speaker, Sonya Arzola, MS (kinesiologist).
    October 26th LIFE after Breast Cancer Nutrition class--cooking to avoid weight gain using super substitutions. This will be followed by a cooking demonstration utilizing healthier substitutions--chili and cornbread get a makeover!
    November 2nd LIFE after Breast Cancer Taster's Table potluck meal and discussion.
    November 14 Join the Marathon for the Cure Team at the Rock N Roll San Antonio Marathon and Half Marathon. You can commit to run or walk a full or half marathon, or you can participate in a relay with a friend that breaks up the half marathon course.
