Advocate Program

The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation provides scholarships for eligible advocates to attend the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. The Symposium is an international event in which approximately 8,000 researchers, oncologists, and others in the scientific field learn about and discuss the current and cutting edge breast cancer research. The advocates who receive our scholarship will be brought together with doctors to discuss the latest information on breast cancer research, clinical trials that are available, and any questions the advocates may have. The advocates then can share this information with their local organization.

This year's conference will be held December 9-13, 2009. Scholarship applications for the 2009 Conference will be taken starting April 2009. Please check back then for more information and to fill out the online application.

Mentor Sessions

We will be recording the mentor sessions Thursday-Saturday evenings and will have the video on our website for you to view after the symposium is completed. Check our homepage for the video as it becomes available!
