TO BE HELD AT THE CENTRUM from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 29th.
The Centrum is located in NW Houston at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center, 6823 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379.
Breast medical oncologists will discuss key issues in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer — from prevention through long-term survivorship. What are the best strategies for hormonal therapy? What is the role of exercise in recovery? What are the best recovery plans following chemotherapy? All of these topics will be addressed by oncologists, researchers and other survivors. Ample time for your questions will be provided as well.

Kick up your heels with our professional dance instructors. Marvel at the culinary creations from local bakeries in our cake decorating contest and enter for your chance to join our panel of celebrity judges. Take part in a variety of wellness-oriented classes and browse our resource fair designed to enrich and enhance your survivor’s journey.

Host: Breast Health Collaborative of Texas
This two-day statewide event is the only annual conference dedicated to access to breast health care in Texas. Continuing education will be provided for nurses, social workers, certified health education specialists, and community health workers.
Theme: Embracing Diversity: Bridging Healthcare Gaps in Texas
Date: November 7-8, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
